10 Baby Items You Can’t Live Without

April 9, 2018 By Megan Leave a Comment

Every parent has a few baby products they absolutely can’t live without. Being first-time parents can be nerve wracking. If you’re one of them, knowing about these baby must-haves will make parenting easier for you. After having three kids, I put together a list of the top 10 baby items I couldn’t live without.

Ergo Baby Carrier

It holds your child snuggly to your chest or back in one of three positions. And because it holds a child of up to 45 pounds, you can get away with keeping your toddlers close by as well. Having hands free at all times is always helpful.

Boppy Pillow

A versatile support pillow for breastfeeding time, as well as a soft prop for sitting and tummy time as your baby grows.

Baby Jogger City Select double stroller

Make life easier when traveling with two! It’s a great way to keep your multi-child family rolling with a customizable design that makes everyone happy. Front facing, parent facing, or sibling facing, this stroller offers the convenience of a double stroller in a smaller and more maneuverable design. There are a bunch of accessories that you can add to the stroller as well. My favorites are the cup holder and glider board.

Mamaroo

It bounces and sways in multiple directions, has built-in nature sounds and also connects to your iPhone. It’s a lifesaver for the first few months during those moments when you need two hands.

Pack ‘n Play

No matter where you travel whether it’s to grandma’s, on vacation, or even just to the living room, baby will be cozy and comfy.

Medela Freestyle Breast Pump

If you haven’t invested in a hands-free pump, I would highly recommend it. I used the Medela Freestyle for all three kids and loved how portable it is. You can literally throw it in your purse. While I never really liked pumping (does anyone?), this pump made it bearable. It’s expensive, but it will definitely last.

White Noise Machine

This sound machine creates natural white noise. Soothing sound of moving air blocks disturbing background noises. Creates an ideal environment for restful sleep.

Maclaren Stroller

A lightweight stroller, folds with one hand and easily fits in the trunk without taking up much room. This is a great second stroller.

Fisher Price Rock ‘n’ Play Sleeper

Sooth your babe with this baby rocker. It’s easily foldable for storage or convenient transportation.

The First Years Close & Secure Portable Infant Sleeper

You can feed, soothe, monitor and bond throughout the night with the reassurance that your little one is snug, secure and safe. Designed to be easily portable for on-the-go convenience, you can also use the sleeper in the crib to help ease baby’s transition from your bed when he’s ready to leave your nest. I always thought of it as a giant shoe box.
